We had an amazing day trip in New Zealand’s North Island with Chicky Kiwi—even though Iit poured with rain the whole time! Our guide Michael made the experience so warm and enjoyable with his incredible enthusiasm. He shared fascinating insights non-stop throughout the journey, turning a rainy day into an unforgettable adventure. Well done to the team and a huge thank you to Michael for such a fantastic day! Brilliant!

Such a fun day out! Cheeky Michael is an absolute legend, he did such a fab job looking after everyone, telling us all about the history and nz culture, and keeping us entertained the whole day. Would highly recommend, visiting Hobbiton and seeing all the incredible detail and love that’s gone into the tour will be a core memory for sure.

Amazing!! The tour was well guided and special thanks to our tour guide Alessandro, he made the trip fun, insightful and entertaining. Overall very good organised tour and would highly recommend any exploring person out there to opt Cheeky kiwi.

Well worth the long car ride.

It was a long day starting with pick up at 6am and ending almost at 7pm. However, it was worth it. For LOTR fans, Hobbiton is a must.

Lord of the Smings

Totally worth it. Lovely guides a lot to see even for people who are not Lord of the Rings fans. If possible try a time where you would have lunch at Hobbiton.

Great tour, it went smoothly and exceeded our expectations.

Tour was excellent and John made it fun and exciting. He is friendly, professional and he entertained us with trivia. He is knowledgable about places in New Zealand. Highly recommendable.

Fun time touring with Tiki Dave. Absolutely would tour with him again.

Tiki Dave is an outstanding tour guide. I had so much fun and met lots of wonderful people on the tour bus. Tiki Dave was on time for pick up. Took us to so many beautiful and amazing places throughout the New Zealand tour. First stop was Hobbiton. Definitely worth seeing. Especially if you’re a fan of Peter Jackson and his movies. The movie set was exquisite in person. I didn’t want to leave. The location has beautiful scenery. The “Hobbits” set is a delightful tour. Like walking into the village of the Hobbits. Super amazing. Tiki Dave shared special stops along the way sharing many photo opportunities taking your breath away with its beauty. I really want to move here. I didn’t want to leave. Next stop was WAI-O-TAPU THERMAL WONDERLAND. The hot springs are absolutely incredible. Really enjoyed seeing Rotorua, showcasing the region's volcanic activity through its colorful springs, steaming ground, and craters. You must make sure you see Artist's Palette and Champagne Pool. Wow! It’s spectacular to see. Just walk across the bridge there, and see the emerald-colored pool. I can’t wait for my friends and family to see my photos. TiKi Dave share a wealth of information on the history of New Zealand and made suggestions on what to see and made sure we saw and got a-lot of amazing photos taking us through the heart of New Zealand. Definitely would book another tour with Dave. We went to see “Lake Rotorua another beautiful place to see up close. Dave, is the ultimate tour guide definitely worth hanging out with if you’re ever in Auckland. Very knowledgeable and personable. Recommended by me because he knew what places to go see before left New Zealand. Love our tour guide. If I had more time in Auckland I would have gone on more tours as long as he’s the tour guide.

Excellent highly recommended. A must if you're visiting Auckland

Our tour guide Dave was great. We had an excellent experience and fortunate for the good weather. The views in Hobbiton and Rotorua were undescribable. You have to witnessed it yourselves. The van journey was very comfortable. And we had multiple short journey breaks which helped.
