To ensure smooth processing and top-tier service, please provide the following when placing a trade booking:

Traveller names, ages (adult/child), nationality.
Desired departure date, pick-up location, any special needs (dietary, mobility, celebration).
Agent reference or booking code, invoice details, and any promotional code being used.

Sheer beauty of Milford Sound

My husband and I really enjoyed our minibus/cruise/minibus tour of Milford Sound yesterday with Danny from Cheeky Kiwi Tours. From the moment that we were picked up in the morning, we knew we were in capable hands. The tour was so well-organized and Cheeky Kiwi had thought of everything to make our experience an enjoyable one- including squeegees to wipe the condensation from the minibus windows so we could see the scenery outside, to a really tasty picnic lunch catering for our dietary requirements. Danny made the tour itself a very relaxed experience. He demonstrated an extensive knowledge of the local area and of the local culture. Danny showed genuine interest in learning more about his guests and what had brought them to Queenstown. He delivered the tour in a professional and punctual manner with good-humour and an authentic appreciation of the magic of the South Island of NZ. Danny also tried his hardest to get us on a flight back to Queenstown once we were at Milford Sound (our previous flight had been cancelled). The scenery on the way to Milford is next level spectacular and awe-inspiring. We were allowed plenty of time to stop and really take in the scenery at each of the photo spots. We were blessed with sunshine and blue skies which made our cruise in the fjord a really enjoyable experience. Great experience

Tutor guide was Raghav. Extremely polite and helpful. Well aware of the facts and gave us lot of info enroute. We made so many stops so we could maximise on sightseeing. It made the overall experience memorable for us. Unfortunately our return flight got cancelled due to bad weather but then an amazing experience over all.

Milford Sound

Hanna and Andy were such amazing tour guides and made the experience so wonderful! Both were so knowledgeable about the land, the history, and the wildlife, and we were able to learn so much about New Zealand on this tour.

See New Zealand by van and plane!

Was able to see the beauty of SouiNee Zealand by automobile and plane. Both drivers were excellent at explaining what we were seeing and offering us breaks to use facilities, stretch out legs and eat/drink. It was beautiful weather to top it off!

Just Do It! A Stunning Nature Experience

A fantastic experience! The best tour I've ever been on. We were in a small 16-seater bus and the tour guide (Shoe) was very warm, friendly and informative and clearly loves her job. We stopped at several very scenic places along the way which made the long trip to Milford interesting and not at all tiring. We were lucky enough to spot several native NZ birds at places we stopped at including a Kaka and a Kakapo. The Milford Sound boat tour was absolutely stunning and really enjoyable. We had a dry day but due to rain a couple of days earlier, there was still plenty of waterfalls. As the boat was small, it could get in close to the waterfalls which was a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and seals too. The weather was cold, but having a down jacket and a water and wind proof jacket on, plus a warm hat meant that I was still warm outside on the decks. I also had my bird watching binoculars with me which added to the whole amazing experience. The lunch provided was excellent and catered well for different diets. The flight back was awesome and really worth it. As the weather was clear, we had fabulous views of the mountain tops, glaciers, lakes and hills. The pilot was great with her commentary. All up, I found Cheeky Kiwi Travel a really excellent company to deal with. I'd booked with them through Viator. They were very quick at responding to my email questions and I really liked that they picked me up close to my accomodation and then after the flight they dropped me right back to where I was staying.

Stunning views and a memorable trip

Had a wonderful trip to Milford Sound led by Dean from Cheeky Kiwi. It was such a memorable day. It was fascinating to learn about the natural landmarks during the drive to Milford Sound and also about the local wildlife. There was a good amount of toilet breaks too. The cruise was amazing - the scenes are simply breathtaking. We were fortunate to be able to fly back and I could t recommend it enough - the views from the skies were awesome! A highlight of our trip.

Amazing family experience

Beautiful family experience. The tour guide/driver Zoey was amazing, friendly and organized. The drive to milford sound and the flight back was more scenic than the actual boat cruise. The flight back was breathtaking. We were lucky we had great weather.

Family Tour to Hobbiton

As direct tickets had sold out I was very fortunate to come across Cheeky Kiwi offering their tour which allowed my family to still get to Hobbiton and enjoy. Our family had a wonderful tour to Hobbiton with Brad as our guide. He educated us throughout the drive there and back, sharing interesting facts and stories that made the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. Brad was knowledgeable, engaging, and great with all of the passengers. The drive was well paced and very informative, and we all truly enjoyed the experience. A highlight of our trip—highly recommend Brad and the Team at Cheeky Kiwi. Would definitely book again for any New Zealand adventure!

Cheekykiwi travel delivered a great experience.

Fabulous tour that involved two parts. Simon with Cheekykiwi travel transported our group of travelers to the ‘Hobbiton Movie Set’ for a splendid tour. Simon provided history and information during the 2 hour drive and the bonus was a scenic drive off the highway to see a picturesque countryside. At the ‘Hobbiton movie set’, a different tour guide took a group of travelers a short ride to the ‘set’. From there a walking tour meandered along paths with commentary throughout. Highly recommended tour for any LOTR or Hobbit fan.

Excellent day!

Our driver, did an amazing job with the heavy rain navigating us safely to Hobbiton and back to Auckland. He commented on different sites along the way and provided water and snacks. This experience more than meets the expectations if not beyond as we are huge LOTR fans!!!

Hobbiton Movie Set

Awesome experience!

Cheeky Kiwi driver Ark was very knowledgeable and friendly. The Hobbiton tour guide Yuna was super knowledgeable too, and gave us a detailed account and fun facts of the movie set. Highly recommended it!

Highly recommend Cheeky Kiwi for a seamless visit to Hobbiton

Vicky was a fabulous driver and guide. I went solo as there was only one ticket available and it was a great life- choice! The drive to Hobbiton was scenic and Vicky was a fountain of knowledge. Hobbiton itself was brilliant. Extremely well-run and Vicky made sure we were all ticketed up and knew where to find her at the end. Hobbiton was an amazing, immersive experience that I highly recommend to fans of the films.

Hobbiton Visit

We had a great time on this Hobbiton adventure. Our tour guide, Trent, was professional and knowledgeable on the drive, explaining all about the areas that we were driving through. The actual tour at Hobbiton, lead by Liam, was magnificent. Seeing all the homes that the hobbits lived in made the memory of watching the movies so much better, and so more real, knowing that it was an actual movie set left permanently for enthusiasts of the movies.

I was really lucky to get Jayme as my guide/driver! She's new to the Cheeky Kiwi team and did an excellent job. I loved all the interesting insights and stories she shared. It was also super valuable to hear and get a Maori perspective. She was prompt with the pickups, drove safe, and attentive to all of us (brought us umbrellas as soon as it started raining at a rest stop). The tour to Hobbiton was also well organized. It was nice to see that Cheeky Kiwi still had tickets available, since they're hard to come by.

Great experience highly recommend

Really good experience with a lot of good stops on the way there and back. Stopped for toilet many times, cafe with great sausage roll, many photo opportunities beyond what was listed on Viator - nice surprise. Our tour guide was Chris and he was extremely knowledgeable and I found that the way he presented the information was highly engaging. Was great that it was a small group tour which I didn’t expect. Description was slightly unclear as to whether the hooker track would be an option (to only walk the part that is open) - it ended up being only Tasman glacier as our stop which was still great but could have been clearer on the description. Feedback is that some stops were rushed e.g. 20 mins at the orchard, high country salmon Overall highly enjoyable and would recommend.

Wonderful one day tour

The one day tour was great! Sonia is a very professional and responsible guide, have a very nice day! Beautiful views, delicious food, the tour line is very reasonable and clear, the fee is also affordable! Love it, definitely recommend it!

Superb day with Cheeky Kiwi at Mt Cook

We had a wonderful day at Mt Cook through Cheeky Kiwi. The day was exciting and enthralling with plenty of activities and time to soak in the amazing atmosphere. Big shout out to Lynette and her offsider ( sorry forgot his name) for organising, driving and for their warm, engaging and hospitable manner. Fascinating day with the highlights being the hikes and the glacier views.

Mt Cook - a MUST do!!!

Cullen, our tour guide, was phenomenal. He gave us a lot of information on the way up to Mount Cook and offered some great suggestions. I ended up doing the heli / ski plane up to Mt Cook. Absolutely wonderful. Again, kudos to Cullen! He made it an experience for us to remember. He was very accommodating to different people doing different things.

An awesome tour with so many cool experiences! The highlight was definitely the heli hike on tasman glacier of Mt Cook. Our guide Lynette was a superstar! So friendly, knowledgeable, lovely and great stories. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to do a bit of everything

Wonderful experience and guide

Well coordinated tour with wonderful, caring driver guide Colin. Highlights were the helicopter to and from the glacier and glacier hike with informative and friendly team leader. Had opportunities to taste very good locally created foods and take beautiful photos.

Absolutely amazing, the very best experience. Well worth the money, very well organised.

Dayton was an amazing driver and informative guide for all things in the South Island. The heli hike we booked (Mt Cook) was cancelled due to inclement weather but we were offered a smaller heli hike which was amazing. We landed on Mt Hutton which looks towards Mt Cook. It was an amazing experience and I recommend it highly. Thankyou so much for making our NZ trip amazing!!

My first time seeing snow!

Best experience

The heli hike tour is definitely once in a life time experience for me. The helicopter ride and a hike on Mt Cook was like a dream. The guide Lynatte is one of the sweetest person I have met in NZ. She is so knowledgeable and shared so many fun facts and history with us. She has a lovely cheerful personality. Love her!
